A Poem I Heard the Robin Sing I heard the robin sing By the window sill To greet me when I woke up Sitting still I heard the cicada chirp High on the tree In the high noon of the hot day Before I took a nap feeling free I heard the frog croak Deep in the night of the summer By the rice field and the brook Wishing me a good night slumber
